With his leg Danny Chivers managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Nailsea AFC's Pedro Blakely fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith Griffiths in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Chivers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kenneth Chegwyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jez Oldroyd in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Pedro Blakely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
