The Northern Ireland Babe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annscroft City the free kick. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Chivers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Boyd having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Mann got free with Ben Boyd in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Mann might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Boyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Mann ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in The Northern Ireland Babe's zone, Cliff Robson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Crispin Corby came out of the goal and Cliff Robson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthew Smythe got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd match minute, The Northern Ireland Babe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Smythe to maneuver through the defense. Greg Masters hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Cliff Robson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cliff Robson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steve Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Crispin Corby having to interfere. Steve Barnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
