Oadby's Seth Crawshaw came free and shot a quick shot against goal 46 minutes in the game, fortunately Frank Cooke had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Seth Crawshaw might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Cooke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seth Crawshaw in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Cooke saved Notting Hill Gate City from getting behind. Oadby walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
