Spectators: 6941 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vic Hood took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Harry Pugh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bromley's George Myers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Harry Pugh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Myers was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 7th match minute, Bromley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Kay to maneuver through the defense. Bromley's George Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Healy in the 13th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Bromley:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dalton In Furness:s goal. Bromley:s George Myers showed great skill when he stopped Andy Allen:s penalty. George Myers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graeme Healy's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute, Graeme Healy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dalton In Furness's Harry Pugh in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromley's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Harry Pugh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalton In Furness's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Pugh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denzil Garrett during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denzil Garrett kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Matthew Pullen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Whittaker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Graeme Healy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bromley's George Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Pugh in the 37th minute of play. Dalton In Furness's Graeme Healy got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Harry Pugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Graeme Healy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalton In Furness fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dalton In Furness's Rufus Whittaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Hood in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Dalton In Furness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rose Parkin to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Pugh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Vic Hood elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Harry Pugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Myers having to interfere. In the 60thth minute of the game Harry Pugh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bromley's George Myers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Dalton In Furness's Graeme Healy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Myers was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Pugh in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Myers saved Bromley from getting behind. George Myers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Pugh in the 69th minute of play. Rufus Whittaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Pullen, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dalton In Furness's Harry Pugh got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Bromley got a freekick which was hit by Donny Wardman. 76 minutes into the match, Dalton In Furness's Andy Allen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Denzil Garrett was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. In the 80th minute, Denzil Garrett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bromley's George Myers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Pugh in the 81st minute of play. Dalton In Furness's Harry Pugh got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harry Pugh struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. George Myers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalton In Furness. George Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Pugh in the 93rd minute of the match. Dalton In Furness's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
