The wind increased when George Routledge made the kick off in the second half. If George Routledge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispin Potterton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Whittaker having to interfere. Crispin Potterton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trevor Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graeme Healy in the 89th minute of play. Neal Butt kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. George Routledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Whittaker having to interfere. Crispin Potterton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rufus Whittaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Liverpool left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dalton In Furness.
