Alistair Nicholls hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martyn Wedlock. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Murphy made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Feltham AFC's zone, Martyn Wedlock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Verne Button came out of the goal and Martyn Wedlock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verne Button made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scott Lock in the 60th minute of play. Whitton AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rory Moon in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Whitton AFC's corner Rory Moon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Verne Button quite easily take care of the ball. In the 67th minute, Shane Sutcliffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronny Brontë struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Stew Jenkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feltham AFC.
