The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Dartford's goal looked a bit too open when Trey Edison came free, but Luis Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Steven Boothroyd notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Feltham AFC's Verne Button. Verne Button was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reuben Fieldwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verne Button having to interfere. Frankie Sharpe kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Steven Boothroyd hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reuben Fieldwick in the 14th minute of play forced Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronny Brontë recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Brontë sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steven Boothroyd in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Verne Button, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 27 minutes into the game, Steven Boothroyd lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Verne Button. Verne Button stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reuben Fieldwick's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. If Steven Boothroyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steven Boothroyd got free with Verne Button in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guy Murphy made a kick off. If Steven Boothroyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luke Thurman hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Feltham AFC's Verne Button played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reuben Fieldwick in the 63rd minute of play. Verne Button showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Fieldwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 67 minutes of play, Dartford's Reuben Fieldwick made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Verne Button was left in no man's land by his defense there! Verne Button took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Boothroyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Steven Boothroyd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verne Button came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Dartford's Steven Boothroyd. But to his dismay, Steven Boothroyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Verne Button took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Boothroyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Steven Boothroyd notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Feltham AFC's Verne Button. Verne Button was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dartford fully deserved thier win.
