Verne Button took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micheal Moss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verne Button made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Moss in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Camberwell United getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Martin Titmuss hit a great ball. If Micheal Moss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verne Button showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Upson in the 21st minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Feltham AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trey Edison to maneuver through the defense. If Micheal Moss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Camberwell United! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guy Murphy was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Upson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Verne Button made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Moss in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Moss in the 62nd minute of play forced Feltham AFC's goalkeeper Verne Button to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Feltham AFC defense, Micheal Moss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Verne Button. The Feltham AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Verne Button should have stopped the shot. Ruben Upson might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Verne Button. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Upson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 72 played minutes, Camberwell United's Harvey Maskell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Verne Button came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Camberwell United reached it. Micheal Moss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verne Button having to interfere. The long shot by Caleb McCann in the 79th minute really tested Verne Button's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Camberwell United's Ruben Upson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Camberwell United's Danny Woods got a free kick in the 87th minute. Micheal Mosss short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Verne Button to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute Micheal Moss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verne Button saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Ronny Brontë managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feltham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Brontë was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Camberwell United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Feltham AFC throughout the match.
