The supporters of Dartford booed when Tipton United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Blake didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Steven Boothroyd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dartford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Boothroyd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tipton United's Paddy Gilchrist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Tipton United from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Dartford's Reuben Fieldwick ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paddy Gilchrist. Paddy Gilchrist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Steven Boothroyd made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 16thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Paddy Gilchrist would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When Dartford's Steven Boothroyd in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tipton United's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Tipton United defense, Steven Boothroyd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paddy Gilchrist. The Tipton United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paddy Gilchrist should have stopped the shot. When Dartford's Reuben Fieldwick in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reuben Fieldwick to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wayne Carlick during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Wayne Carlick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paddy Gilchrist came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Dartford's Steven Boothroyd. But to his dismay, Steven Boothroyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The audience was convinced that Steven Boothroyd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paddy Gilchrist was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Paddy Gilchrist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reuben Fieldwick in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Tipton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Campbell to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Tipton United got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Blake. The audience was convinced that Reuben Fieldwick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paddy Gilchrist was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Steven Boothroyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Luis Charro managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Tipton United's Stefan Blake fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Reuben Fieldwick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paddy Gilchrist was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Paddy Gilchrist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Boothroyd in the 82nd minute of play. Reuben Fieldwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Paddy Gilchrist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Steven Boothroyd made a precise shot to the right of Paddy Gilchrist. Tipton United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 99th minute Reuben Fieldwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paddy Gilchrist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dartford fully deserved thier win.
