The supporters of Hucknall FC booed when Levenshulme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derek Digby ran back to his position shaking his head. Derek Digby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lee Frost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlton Warburton struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lee Frost didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucknall FC. The audience was convinced that Derek Digby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lee Frost was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derek Digby in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lee Frost saved Levenshulme from getting behind. Philip Baum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Stead having to interfere. Philip Baum's late challenge caught a Hucknall FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Baum helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Levenshulme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Baum to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Derek Digby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lee Frost was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlton Warburton in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lee Frost saved Levenshulme from getting behind. Hucknall FC's Derek Digby got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hucknall FC's Carlton Warburton in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Levenshulme's goalie prevented a goal. Lee Frost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Warburton in the 84th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
