Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Billie Gray got the match started through his kick off. Ben Washington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Reg Hinchcliffe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billie Gray in the 8th minute of play forced Polperro's goalkeeper Billy Woods to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Woods made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billie Gray in the 10th minute of play. With his leg Reg Hinchcliffe managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Polperro's CJ Harrison fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ben Washington received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reg Hinchcliffe came out and tried to block the shot, but Ben Washington slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Ben Washington might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reg Hinchcliffe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ben Washington ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the game, Polperro's Matt Perkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reg Hinchcliffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Polperro getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thomas Butcher hit a great ball. If Neil Sadler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s Louis Carroll got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ben Washington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reg Hinchcliffe having to interfere. CJ Harrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Reg Hinchcliffe made a huge save. Reg Hinchcliffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Washington in the 42nd minute of play. CJ Harrison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reg Hinchcliffe having to make a save. If Ben Washington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ben Washington made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Mhurphys Fury F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Lambert to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s zone, Frank Tetley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reg Hinchcliffe came out of the goal and Frank Tetley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Polperro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Perkins to maneuver through the defense. Billie Gray struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Billy Woods didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mhurphys Fury F.C.. After 67 played minutes Polperro got a freekick which was hit by Matt Perkins. Billie Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Harrison in the 73rd minute of play forced Mhurphys Fury F.C.'s goalkeeper Reg Hinchcliffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reg Hinchcliffe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Washington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neil Sadler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Billy Woods tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, CJ Harrison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polperro's supporters crossed their fingers, but CJ Harrison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reg Hinchcliffe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Harrison went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling CJ Harrison in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reg Hinchcliffe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, Polperro's CJ Harrison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reg Hinchcliffe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Polperro's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
