Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rupert Kitching started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lenny Gregg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rangers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lenny Gregg sped through North Force FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dave Bridge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Myers in the 12th minute of play forced Rangers's goalkeeper Jasper Trotter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Johnathan Burley made a precise shot to the right of Dave Bridge. North Force FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Rangers's Mitch Sharp suffered a sore foot after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Paul Farmer's late challenge caught a Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Farmer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, North Force FC's Paul Farmer got a free kick in the 19th minute. Lenny Gregg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Dave Bridge when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Colin Kershaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lenny Greggs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Dave Bridge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Johnathan Burley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Bridge having to interfere. If Lenny Gregg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lenny Gregg struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Dave Bridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangers. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jamie Blackley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamie Blackley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Bridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lenny Gregg came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Rangers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenny Gregg couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lenny Gregg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lenny Gregg struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Dave Bridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangers. Lenny Gregg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johnathan Burley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dave Bridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Bridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Gregg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Budden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, one of North Force FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for North Force FC. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Rangers. Pete Baldwin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dave Bridge. 5-0. In the 72nd minute Lenny Gregg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Bridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. North Force FC's Dave Bridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Gregg in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lenny Gregg in the 75th minute of play forced North Force FC's goalkeeper Dave Bridge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Rangers's Lenny Gregg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Bridge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Lenny Gregg hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dave Bridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Gregg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colin Kershaw might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dave Bridge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colin Kershaw ran back to his position shaking his head. Dave Bridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenny Gregg in the 87th minute of play. Dave Bridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colin Kershaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Lenny Gregg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Bridge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Bridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Burley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Myers got free with Jasper Trotter in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Johnathan Burley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupert Kitching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jasper Trotter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenny Gregg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rangers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
