Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Cornish kicked off to start the match. After taking down the ball on Harold Hill AFC's corner Jez Lancaster fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jermaine Downs quite easily take care of the ball. Roy Croft might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jermaine Downs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roy Croft ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerry Roberts in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Downs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phillip Townson's late challenge caught a Colo-Colo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phillip Townson helped the player get up and apologised. Phillip Townson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Croft in the 15th minute of play forced Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Jermaine Downs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colo-Colo's Ralph Hurdle got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Phillip Townson got his second yellow card in the match during the 18th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Paul Cornish blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Neal Coates having to make a save. Ralph Hurdle succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 20th playminute. When Roy Croft came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Harold Hill AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Croft couldn't finish the play. Roy Croft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jermaine Downs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jermaine Downs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Croft in the 28th minute of the match. Martin Robinson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Roy Croft sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Glyn Littlechild came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Harold Hill AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glyn Littlechild couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roy Croft made the kick off in the second half. Jermaine Downs came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Harold Hill AFC's Roy Croft. But to his dismay, Roy Croft quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Roy Croft came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Harold Hill AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Croft couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Adam Peters got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Martin Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Croft got free with Jermaine Downs in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Roy Croft put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jermaine Downs. Harold Hill AFC's Roy Croft got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 73 in the game by Roy Croft from a close distance when the talented Jermaine Downs managed to make a qualified save. Colo-Colo's players were relieved. After 74 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by Adam Peters. Forrest Henwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Harold Hill AFC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Basil Osmond hit a great ball. Harold Hill AFC's Roy Croft got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Ralph Hurdle made a precise shot to the right of Neal Coates. Harold Hill AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Harold Hill AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
