Kenneth Partridge ran back to his position shaking his head. Samuel Mac Adaim was a little too slow when Oliver Westwood got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Chip Blewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Luke Chambers kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Islington's goalkeeper Samuel Mac Adaim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seth Andrews in the 31st minute of play forced Tooting's goalkeeper Chip Blewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Islington defense, Kenneth Partridge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Mac Adaim. The Islington fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Mac Adaim should have stopped the shot. Samuel Mac Adaim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Westwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 74th minute, one of Tooting:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tooting. Tooting's Chip Blewitt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Tooting from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Seth Andrews reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chip Blewitt. The goal made the score 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seth Andrews in the 89th minute of play forced Tooting's goalkeeper Chip Blewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chip Blewitt made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jack Howarth sent off a good shot on target. Tooting's Chip Blewitt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Tooting from getting a goal against them.
