Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geoff Rogers got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Biggleswade's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geoff Rogers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lewisham's Marc Donaldson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Hargraves in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Sean Hargraves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Biggleswade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Lewisham's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Hargraves came free, but Marc Donaldson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ozzy Wooding during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Lewisham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ozzy Wooding to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Geoff Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, Biggleswade's Duncan Ingram got a free kick in the 36th minute. Marc Donaldson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kev Dearden , who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The Lewisham players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Biggleswade were winning 1-2.

With an all-out effort, Biggleswade's Marc Donaldson threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kev Meade , which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 52nd minute, Billy Pollock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Moyse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geoff Rogers's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Owen Whittaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lewisham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Owen Whittaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Moyse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owen Whittaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Hargraves took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Donaldson. Marc Donaldson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Michael Harrison kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. James Moyse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owen Whittaker in the 81st minute of the match. Owen Whittaker scored 2-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of James Moyse , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, Biggleswade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kev Meade to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Ozzy Wooding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Quentin Farrow in the 94th minute really tested Marc Donaldson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The Lewisham supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Biggleswade's performance. The match ended with a win for Biggleswade.
