If Steve Ryder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the game, Gez Gardner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Owen Hopker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 7 played minutes ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Bale. 12 minutes into the match, Intrusive Thoughts's goal looked a bit too open when Gez Gardner came free, but Owen Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stu Sherman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Charlie Bale struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Owen Hopker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ. In the 29th minute Gez Gardner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steve Ryder's late challenge caught a ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Ryder helped the player get up and apologised. Steve Ryder hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Intrusive Thoughts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Duke to maneuver through the defense. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Skirzynski in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Ozzy Rouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes of play, ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's Arkadiusz Skirzynski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Owen Hopker was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arkadiusz Skirzynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Arkadiusz Skirzynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Ainsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Owen Hopker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Owen Hopker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Skirzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Owen Hopker came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's Gez Gardner. But to his dismay, Gez Gardner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Owen Hopker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Skirzynski in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gez Gardner in the 76th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Ainsworth struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Owen Hopker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gez Gardner in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Owen Hopker saved Intrusive Thoughts from getting behind. The supporters of ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ booed when Intrusive Thoughts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stu Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Intrusive Thoughts's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Skirzynski came free, but Owen Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Ryder got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 minutes of play, Intrusive Thoughts's Kenneth E. Sullivan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Whittaker was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ were the better team. ᑕƗƬϒ ᗯᗩᒪᒪᔕ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
