Watchet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lewisham the free kick. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Liam Dickens. Geoff Rogers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Liam Dickens made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Shawn Connell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watchet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Watchet's Liam Dickens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Seaward in the 53rd minute of play. Bronagh Lineker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marc Donaldson made a huge save. Liam Dickens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
