After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Geoff McParland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yapton's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoff McParland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Geoff McParland notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Real Madrid's Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 played minutes Yapton got a freekick which was hit by 乔棋骏. The tension between the Real Madrid and the Yapton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Johnathon Ellis hit a great ball. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff McParland in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zak Shea in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus King prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Stone made a kick off. Zak Shea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Marcus King made a huge save. Marcus King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Des Buckley, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tony Stone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Johnathon Ellis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Andy Boxall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Madrid booed when Yapton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jez Peacock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Des Buckley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Stone in the 94th minute of play. Yapton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Des Buckley scored to the left of an out of position Marcus King, making the score, 1-1. The Real Madrid players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Yapton from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
