The referee ignored Brimhaven FC's protests and gave Daryl Rashleigh a yellow card for diving instead. During the 9th minute of the match Daryl Rashleigh completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Daryl Rashleigh a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 10th match minute, Brimhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Rashleigh to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Jamal Atkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth E. White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes, Theo Gates mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brimhaven FC and the Ledbury players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Wardle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damien Fish in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Damien Fish's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Wardle was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The supporters of Ledbury booed when Brimhaven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinnie Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ledbury's Vance Pennant in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vance Pennant was the one to do the kick off. If Neil Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Brimhaven FC got a freekick which was hit by Damien Fish. When Damien Fish fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Damien Fish got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Damien Fish hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. A hard shot 98 in the game by Vance Pennant from a close distance when the talented Kenneth E. White managed to make a qualified save. Brimhaven FC's players were relieved. Vance Pennant came free with the goalkeeper in the 99th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kenneth E. White could save by the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
