Caleb Bell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Jake Campbell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frankie Cardwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Hill , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caleb Bell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rich Pennant got free with Jake Campbell in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute of the match, Caleb Bell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jake Campbell was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rich Pennant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ballymoney Athletic players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
