They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zak Shea to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Belfast Rebels FC's Derek Wood fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 95 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Feeney came free, but Þrúðmar Brynjólfsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
