Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kenny Wicks took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Ledbury's Colin Leather got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tenbury Wells's Austin Parrott couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ledbury. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Atkinson in the 21st minute of play forced Tenbury Wells's goalkeeper Greg Reddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Jamal Atkinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ledbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tenbury Wells the free kick. The supporters of Tenbury Wells booed when Ledbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamal Atkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Patrick Venables had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Reddington. Tenbury Wells's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Venables was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34th minute Vance Pennant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Reddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greg Reddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Atkinson in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Jimmy Stiles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jamal Atkinson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ledbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamal Atkinson couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ledbury were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Greg Reddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Atkinson in the 54th minute of play. Tenbury Wells's Greg Reddington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Atkinson in the 69th minute of play. Rory Gerrard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Paul Wardle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tenbury Wells getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rory Gerrard hit a great ball. Vance Pennant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Reddington having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tenbury Wells's Rory Gerrard got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Kenny Wicks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tenbury Wells fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ledbury were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
