Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vance Pennant started the match with the kick off. Vance Pennant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marc Sawbridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc Sawbridge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamal Atkinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gareth Jefferson tried in the game's 15th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Marc Sawbridge. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. After 17 played minutes Ledbury got a freekick which was hit by Vance Pennant. In the 20th minute Jim Tipton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wardle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jim Tipton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledbury's Paul Wardle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jamal Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Ledbury got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Bramble. Paul Wardle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Perkins in the 36th minute of play. Jim Tipton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Paul Wardle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jim Tipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Jim Tipton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belfast Celtic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Tipton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Tipton made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jim Tipton in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Wardle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jim Tipton kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Patrick Venables's late challenge caught a Belfast Celtic FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Venables helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Belfast Celtic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Jim Tipton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Joey Downs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marc Sawbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vance Pennant in the 66th minute of the match. Ledbury's Jamal Atkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colin Leather hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Chris Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Paul Wardle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jim Tipton came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Belfast Celtic FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Tipton couldn't finish the play. Jamal Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Ledbury's Johnathon Hamilton got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Brandon Littlechild hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wayne Ellerby's late challenge caught a Belfast Celtic FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wayne Ellerby helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute Belfast Celtic FC were awarded a corner. Derek Lyons went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 95th minute, Belfast Celtic FC's Jim Tipton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.
