Lincoln AFC's Jake Campbell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damien Fish in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Damien Fish made a precise shot to the right of Jake Campbell. Lincoln AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gavin Crooks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Damien Fish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Neil Hill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Fish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calvin Patten during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute of the game, Lincoln AFC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daryl Rashleigh in the 37th minute of play forced Lincoln AFC's goalkeeper Jake Campbell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Joey Gillespie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brimhaven FC and the Lincoln AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brimhaven FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joey Gillespie hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Damien Fish made the kick off in the second half. Richie Talbot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth E. White having to interfere. Daryl Rashleigh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Campbell having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Lincoln AFC's goalkeeper Jake Campbell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daryl Rashleigh. In the 62nd minute, Simon Davis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richie Talbot charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Richie Talbot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richie Talbot hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daryl Rashleigh got free with Jake Campbell in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jake Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Fish in the 89th minute of play. Daryl Rashleigh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jake Campbell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Lincoln AFC's goalkeeper Jake Campbell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daryl Rashleigh. Joey Gillespie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
