During this time Cirencester's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cirencester's Kristopher White to fire away a dangerous shot which Paul Wardle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ronny Corby 's late challenge caught a Ledbury's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Corby helped the player get up and apologised. Paul Wardle was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Ronny Corby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronny Corby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Ian Hassell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ledbury's Paul Wardle got control of the ball when Tommy Nethercott tried to sneak it across the goal line.
