Ronnie Law made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Mumford in the 18th minute of play. Menderes Özdoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ronnie Law made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Edmondo Ruggieri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tod Theobold hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Mumford in the 33rd minute of play forced Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's goalkeeper Ronnie Law to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Rain Kuusk scored to the left of an out of position Ronnie Law, making the score, 2-0. Menderes Özdoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tod Theobold in the 45th minute of play forced Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's goalkeeper Ronnie Law to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Autocares Vázquez Olmedo defense, Menderes Özdoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronnie Law. The Autocares Vázquez Olmedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronnie Law should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kiera Archer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Menderes Özdoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Freddie Boston ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Law was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 60 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper 柯誉海 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmondo Ruggieri. Ronnie Law didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddie Boston went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Theo Hernandez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, one of Autocares Vázquez Olmedo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Autocares Vázquez Olmedo. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Flamengo. Keith Ripley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ronnie Law. 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Freddie Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Boston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Law breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zabal Aizpurua kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ronnie Law didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ergün Senih went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ergün Senih hit a great ball. Ronnie Law took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergün Senih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Tod Theobold made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Law. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. A collision led to Autocares Vázquez Olmedo getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bobby Wilson hit a great ball. Ronnie Law showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tod Theobold, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The audience was convinced that Tod Theobold's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronnie Law was relentless in the 99th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Flamengo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
