In the 10th minute, Mercher Linkletter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thorne FC were furious when David Best was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th match minute, Thorne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Best to maneuver through the defense. Alex Kent made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kiera Archer in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Kiera Archer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Kent. The goal made the score 2-0. Ash Taylor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Kent came out and tried to block the shot, but Ash Taylor slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. Louie Story-Moore's late challenge caught a Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louie Story-Moore helped the player get up and apologised. Louie Story-Moore hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edmondo Ruggieri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alex Kent firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edmondo Ruggieri struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alex Kent didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Autocares Vázquez Olmedo. Martyn Bonds hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmondo Ruggieri in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Kent saved Thorne FC from getting behind. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kiera Archer in the 58th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Louie Story-Moore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thorne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Louie Story-Moore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Kiera Archer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Autocares Vázquez Olmedo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The supporters of Autocares Vázquez Olmedo booed when Thorne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvester Crichton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Ruggieri, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 92 played minutes Autocares Vázquez Olmedo got a freekick which was hit by Kiera Archer. Silvester Crichton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ronnie Law tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
