Rob Gillespie hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Garstang AFC got a freekick which was hit by Golo Kante. When Spike Bond came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spike Bond couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Garstang AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Golo Kante to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Tim Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Henry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Albert Henry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Vedat Kabataş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Garstang AFC were awarded a corner. Florencio Maureo went to the cornerflag to take it. Florencio Maureo made a great header on Garstang AFC's corner, it was just that Memphis Grizzlies's Albert Henry managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 58th match minute, Garstang AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Golo Kante to maneuver through the defense. Albert Henry yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Garstang AFC's Tim Beck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albert Henry. That made the score 0-3 after 74 minutes of play. Freddie Gettins hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Lundy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Garstang AFC's Albert Henry threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ali Vedat Kabataş, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Memphis Grizzlies fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garstang AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
