Thorne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Louie Story-Moore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Woodhall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Alan da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Phillip Woodhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Murray's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Alan da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Alex Kent made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Frank Blackwater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan da Fonseca came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Kent could save by the left post. In the 21st minute, 严朋昆 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Kent was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 24 minutes into the match, Thorne FC's goalkeeper Alex Kent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rhys Bibby. 26 minutes into the match, Rhys Bibby dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Kent, 4-0. Rhys Bibby scored 5-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Kent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rhys Bibby received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Kent came out and tried to block the shot, but Rhys Bibby slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 34th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Cheadle's Alan da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Alan da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alex Kent made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Thorne FC's goalkeeper Alex Kent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lloyd Mumford. Rhys Bibby scored 9-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Kent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 9-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Louie Story-Moore made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cheadle booed when Thorne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvester Crichton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorne FC's Alex Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Bibby in the 65th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Cheadle's 严朋昆 made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Kent was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 played minutes Thorne FC got a freekick which was hit by Louie Story-Moore. 70 minutes into the match, Thorne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rhys Bibby came free, but Alex Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Rhys Bibby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Alan da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Alex Kent. Thorne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Alex Kent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Bibby, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, 严朋昆 notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Thorne FC's Alex Kent. Alex Kent was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the game, Rhys Bibby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Alex Kent was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 87 minutes into the game, Cheadle's Rhys Bibby nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Kent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. 91 minutes into the match, Thorne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rhys Bibby came free, but Alex Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorne FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 18-0. Cheadle walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
