Damian McTom struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Suibhne Branson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kells. Suibhne Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairthmead Cassin in the 25th minute of play. The wind increased when Ciarán Murphy made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Skenahincha FC booed when Kells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bairthmead Cassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skenahincha FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
