Drishane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bar Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 19 in the game by Berrin McWillie from a close distance when the talented Bradaigh McBrandon managed to make a qualified save. Drishane's players were relieved. In the 21st minute Bar Gough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suibhne Branson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradaigh McBrandon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciarán Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drishane's Bradaigh McBrandon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Drishane from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Harrigan Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skenahincha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harrigan Horgan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradaigh McBrandon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peyton Cassin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of Skenahincha FC booed when Drishane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlu Acaralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bradaigh McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrigan Horgan in the 47th minute of the match. The Drishane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bradaigh McBrandon should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ciarán Murphy made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Berrin McWillie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bradaigh McBrandon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Drishane's Alex Beckett managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lawrence Mulvihill in the 78 minute of the game. In the 79th match minute, Drishane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. Harrigan Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The long shot by Alex Beckett in the 82nd minute really tested Suibhne Branson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Drishane's Peyton Cassin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match Breck Mullan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradaigh McBrandon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bradaigh McBrandon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciarán Murphy in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Alex Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Drishane getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Kutlu Acaralp hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Bar Gough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Skenahincha FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
