In the 18th minute, Ravan Martyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Leap FC booed when Gortrelig Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braden Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ciarán Perth came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Leap FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciarán Perth couldn't finish the play. Bevan Gollogley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ravan Martyn in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ciarán Perth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leap FC's Brefni Doyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Leap FC from getting a goal against them. Jeremiah Gollogley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brefni Doyle came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremiah Gollogley slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 76th minute. Jeremiah Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremiah Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. Bevan Gollogley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravan Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Leap FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
