Rowan Gallagher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Perth, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Barra McPaul charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Barnalisheen booed when Dunbeacon Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barra McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Dunbeacon Utd's Berach McLaughlin got control of the ball when Patrick Cassin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Berach McLaughlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan Hughes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ryan Hughes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Berach McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
