Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damian McTom took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Kells's Breaghdha Moran got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kells's zone, Dennis Dillon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartley Glen Crowe came out of the goal and Dennis Dillon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berach McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daithi Holt in the 15th minute of the match. Dunbeacon Utd's Berach McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daithi Holt in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Damian McTom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kells fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Joshua Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley Glen Crowe having to interfere. Berach McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daithi Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Oliver MaCollin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunbeacon Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kells the free kick. After 33 played minutes Dunbeacon Utd got a freekick which was hit by Oliver MaCollin. If Damian McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Daithi Holt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berach McLaughlin was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When Kells's Damian McTom in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dunbeacon Utd's goalie prevented a goal. If Daithi Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kells's Daithi Holt in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dunbeacon Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daithi Holt in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berach McLaughlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joshua Perth was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dunbeacon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Damian McTom came free, but Berach McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Berach McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kells's Damian McTom in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dunbeacon Utd's goalie prevented a goal. Devlin Doherty charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devlin Doherty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Devlin Doherty kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Kells got a freekick which was hit by Bricin McPhilip. Dunbeacon Utd's Joshua Perth got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dunbeacon Utd getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Blavock Robinson hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Dunbeacon Utd got a freekick which was hit by Oliver MaCollin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bras Branson during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartley Glen Crowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Dillon went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Berach McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian McTom in the 92nd minute of the match.
