After a defensive mix-up in Drishane's zone, Dennis Dillon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradaigh McBrandon came out of the goal and Dennis Dillon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bar Gough scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berach McLaughlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barra McPaul got free with Bradaigh McBrandon in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Bradaigh McBrandon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bar Gough took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berach McLaughlin. Berach McLaughlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Bar Gough who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunbeacon Utd's Berach McLaughlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drishane's Bradaigh McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Perth in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Dunbeacon Utd booed when Drishane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlu Acaralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Bealtaine McIan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradaigh McBrandon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joshua Perth to strike the kick off in the second half. Dunbeacon Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Bar Gough scored to the left of an out of position Berach McLaughlin, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Dunbeacon Utd booed when Drishane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryleigh Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bar Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berach McLaughlin having to interfere. After 72 minutes, Blavock Robinson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dunbeacon Utd and the Drishane players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Dunbeacon Utd got a freekick which was hit by Blavock Robinson. In the 77th minute of the match Drishane got a corner. Dunbeacon Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agostinho Mineiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Drishane getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alex Beckett hit a great ball. The supporters of Dunbeacon Utd booed when Drishane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brann Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bar Gough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Berach McLaughlin made a huge save. Breadan Duggan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 91st minute of the match, Breadan Duggan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berach McLaughlin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
