Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benjamin McPaul made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Binnech McDonald got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute Herich McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saoirse McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herich McPaul in the 8th minute of play forced Caherbarnagh's goalkeeper Saoirse McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kerrigan Grant shot from long distance in the 12th minute, but Timothy Taylor was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Caherbarnagh's Saoirse McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herich McPaul in the 13th minute of play. Saoirse McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herich McPaul in the 15th minute of play. Kain Gough charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kain Gough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Caherbarnagh getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Kain Gough hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes, Ventry's Herich McPaul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saoirse McPhilip came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ventry reached it. Saoirse McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bearach Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Breslin Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Dugan Hunt got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rory McIan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saoirse McPhilip. Caherbarnagh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herich McPaul in the 29th minute of play forced Caherbarnagh's goalkeeper Saoirse McPhilip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saoirse McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herich McPaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timothy Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breslin Mullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Teagan Ramsey got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Herich McPaul shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saoirse McPhilip showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Caherbarnagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kain Gough to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Herich McPaul shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saoirse McPhilip showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kain Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy Taylor having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Ventry's Herich McPaul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saoirse McPhilip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Caherbarnagh's Saoirse McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bearach Sheridan in the 44th minute of play.

50 minutes into the game, Breslin Mullan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caherbarnagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ventry the free kick. In the 51st minute, Breslin Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Herich McPaul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ventry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Saoirse McPhilip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bearach Sheridan in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Herich McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saoirse McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes Caherbarnagh got a freekick which was hit by Baptist Sheridan. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Binnech McDonald got a free kick in the 79th minute. Herich McPaul scored 1-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saoirse McPhilip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saoirse McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bearach Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caherbarnagh's Saoirse McPhilip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herich McPaul in the 91st minute of play. Breslin Mullan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute of the game Baird Frankson made a throw-in which Pauric Murphy played forward.
