Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ventry's Benjamin McPaul started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Darrin Moran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ventry getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Braon Caffrey hit a great ball. In the 5th minute Ciarán Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Bearach Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bearnad McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bearach Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Booak Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Leenane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciarán Rutherford to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin McPaul came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Booak Lavine could save by the left post. Timothy Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearnad McDecland in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Ventry booed when Leenane AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Booak Lavine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin McPaul went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Benjamin McPaul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Booak Lavine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timothy Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodore Lester, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bearach Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Booak Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leenane AFC's Beineon Colwell got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Benjamin McPaul might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Booak Lavine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin McPaul ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute of the match, Bearach Sheridan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Booak Lavine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bearnad McDecland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bearnad McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timothy Taylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Bec Callaghan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ventry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leenane AFC the free kick. After 52 played minutes Ventry got a freekick which was hit by Bec Callaghan. Timothy Taylor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearnad McDecland in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearach Sheridan in the 54th minute of play forced Leenane AFC's goalkeeper Booak Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Ventry got a freekick which was hit by Donn Palmer. Booak Lavine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bearach Sheridan went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Ventry's goal looked a bit too open when Bearnad McDecland came free, but Timothy Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodore Lester got free with Timothy Taylor in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ventry's Timothy Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beineon Colwell in the 67th minute of play. Theodore Lester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Timothy Taylor made a huge save. Booak Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearach Sheridan in the 74th minute of play. Benjamin McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Booak Lavine having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearnad McDecland in the 83rd minute of play forced Ventry's goalkeeper Timothy Taylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Ventry's Benjamin McPaul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Booak Lavine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Bearach Sheridan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ventry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 91 played minutes Leenane AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bearnad McDecland. Booak Lavine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bearach Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bearach Sheridan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Booak Lavine saved Leenane AFC from getting behind. Herich McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ventry fully deserved thier win.
