An unexpectedly hard shot by Boethis Cooney in the 10th minute of play forced Lisagoan's goalkeeper Pearce Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baine Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecc Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Derryheena's Baine Ramsey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brecc Doherty in the 36th minute of play. Boethis Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barley Martyn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pearce Hunt. Lisagoan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Lisagoan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breadan Lavine to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Beglan Tracy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Boethis Cooney made the kick off in the second half. Brenna McStephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Boethis Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Lisagoan's Brecc Doherty in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 62 minutes of play, Lisagoan's Brecc Doherty made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baine Ramsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Lisagoan's zone, Beglan Tracy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pearce Hunt came out of the goal and Beglan Tracy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Samuel Bayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baine Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Lisagoan's Art Savic tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Brecc Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Baine Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breadan Lavine charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breadan Lavine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Breadan Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Brecc Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Baine Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Brecc Doherty's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baine Ramsey was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Samuel Bayes came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Lisagoan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Bayes couldn't finish the play. Samuel Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lisagoan booed when Derryheena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caoilte Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Brecc Doherty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lisagoan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
