Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benjamin McPaul made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Artur Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiltartan's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timothy Taylor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 3 played minutes Kiltartan got a freekick which was hit by Breanne McWillie. In the 5th minute, Bec Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred McVictor might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timothy Taylor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred McVictor ran back to his position shaking his head. Braon Caffrey charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braon Caffrey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Bearach Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bearach Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beale McStephen having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Holt during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Artur Holt kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Herich McPaul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beale McStephen skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Kiltartan booed when Ventry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herich McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrie McAlphie struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Timothy Taylor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiltartan. Benjamin McPaul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beale McStephen having to interfere. Beale McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herich McPaul in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bearach Sheridan in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beale McStephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herich McPaul in the 32nd minute of play forced Kiltartan's goalkeeper Beale McStephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baran Dunne lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 33 minutes into the game, one of Kiltartan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Ventry. Herich McPaul stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beale McStephen. 0-1. When Ventry's Benjamin McPaul in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kiltartan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute, Herich McPaul made a precise shot to the right of Beale McStephen. Kiltartan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Kiltartan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ventry were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barrie McAlphie to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kiltartan's Barrie McAlphie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timothy Taylor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Ventry's Bearach Sheridan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beale McStephen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 58th minute, Benjamin McPaul made a precise shot to the right of Beale McStephen. Kiltartan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 65th match minute, Ventry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bec Callaghan to maneuver through the defense. If Bearach Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beale McStephen was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Bearach Sheridan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bearach Sheridan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After having played for 76 minutes, Artur Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kiltartan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Holt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bearach Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beale McStephen having to interfere. Ventry's Timothy Taylor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barrie McAlphie in the 82nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ventry defense, Barrie McAlphie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timothy Taylor. The Ventry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timothy Taylor should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Benjamin McPaul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beale McStephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After 88 played minutes Ventry got a freekick which was hit by Pauric Murphy. Kiltartan's Beale McStephen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Kiltartan from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Herich McPaul made a precise shot to the right of Beale McStephen. Kiltartan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. The Ventry supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ventry would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
