Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Beltany McLiam made the kick off which started today's match. Caherbarnagh's Teagan Ramsey pulled a muscle in his back after 2 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Caherbarnagh's Byrne Colwell was substituted for Teagan Ramsey. After 3 played minutes Drumbrollisk got a freekick which was hit by Artuir McTommy. Kain Gough struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Casey McWill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caherbarnagh. Beltany McLiam kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Brigid Ghee in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Caherbarnagh's Dugan Hunt. In the 19th minute, Drumbrollisk's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kain Gough fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Caherbarnagh booed when Drumbrollisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bowie Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breslin Mullans short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Casey McWill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caherbarnagh's Byrne Colwell quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brigid Ghee, made in the 27th minute of the game. Kain Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Bowie Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dugan Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breslin Mullan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Binnech McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Binnech McDonald in the 57th minute of play forced Drumbrollisk's goalkeeper Casey McWill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, Drumbrollisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phelan Bayes to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Caherbarnagh got a freekick which was hit by Byrne Colwell. Breslin Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Casey McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saoirse McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artuir McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Baptist Sheridan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Saoirse McPhilip was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gilbert Lester. 73 minutes into the match, Drumbrollisk's goal looked a bit too open when Breslin Mullan came free, but Casey McWill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Breslin Mullan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumbrollisk's Casey McWill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Ailín Matthews could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Saoirse McPhilip however easily saved by the left post. Binnech McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Casey McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Breslin Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caherbarnagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Breslin Mullan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casey McWill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kain Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, Kain Gough notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Drumbrollisk's Casey McWill. Casey McWill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Caherbarnagh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
