The referee ignored Coolcullen AFC's protests and gave Bartel Dempsey a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Killinkere Utd booed when Coolcullen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartel Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torna Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suibhne Walker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Killinkere Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 38 played minutes Coolcullen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bartel Dempsey. In the 40thth minute of the game Suibhne Walker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coolcullen AFC's Torna Lavine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Killian Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torna Lavine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Suibhne Walker's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Suibhne Walker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torna Lavine having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Brendon McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Devlin Dillon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Killian Lester in the 90th minute. Killinkere Utd's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
