Samuel Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brecc Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Bayes in the 14th minute of play forced Gortleatilla's goalkeeper Trevor Gough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Breadan Lavine left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lisagoan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 21 minutes into the game, one of Gortleatilla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Art Savic shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 24th minute, Bowen Costello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Brecc Doherty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Gough. After having played for 33 minutes, Samuel Bayes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisagoan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Bayes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gortleatilla's Artuir McSteve got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trevor Gough having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Samuel Bayes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brecc Doherty might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trevor Gough. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brecc Doherty ran back to his position shaking his head.

Samuel Bayes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Trevor Gough when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lisagoan's Samuel Bayes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 99th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
