Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brannen McIan's late challenge caught a Caherbarnagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brannen McIan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Brannen McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brayden Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerrigan Grant in the 5th minute of play. Teigue Perth scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saoirse McPhilip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute Bryan McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saoirse McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Dugan Hunt got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Grangegeeth AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Breslin Mullan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Caherbarnagh's Binnech McDonald got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gealan Martyn was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Saoirse McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teigue Perth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grangegeeth AFC's goalkeeper Brayden Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brannen McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Kain Gough got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Brayden Delaney managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Caherbarnagh's Breslin Mullan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brayden Delaney was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dugan Hunt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teigue Perth was the one to do the kick off. Baptist Sheridan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Kain Gough came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Caherbarnagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kain Gough couldn't finish the play. Kain Gough struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Brayden Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caherbarnagh. Breslin Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Brayden Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kain Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Grangegeeth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan McDecland. When Caherbarnagh's Breslin Mullan in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grangegeeth AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Breslin Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Caherbarnagh booed when Grangegeeth AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan McDecland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Breslin Mullan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teigue Perth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
