Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boethis Cooney started the match with the kick off. Timothy Taylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beglan Tracy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin McPaul in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baine Ramsey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Boethis Cooney's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timothy Taylor was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ventry's Bearach Sheridan in the 22nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Baine Ramsey was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Derryheena through an amazing save. After 26 minutes, Kaine Myler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derryheena and the Ventry players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Derryheena fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Ventry's Herich McPaul got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baine Ramsey. Baine Ramsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bearach Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, Bearach Sheridan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baine Ramsey, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Benjamin McPaul sped through Derryheena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Baine Ramsey. Herich McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Benjamin McPaul managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ventry's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin McPaul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baine Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Derryheena's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin McPaul came free, but Baine Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ventry's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herich McPaul in the 44th minute. The corner ended in Pauric Murphy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Derryheena's Baine Ramsey did a great save. Herich McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Baine Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin McPaul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Benjamin McPaul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baine Ramsey was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Derryheena's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin McPaul came free, but Baine Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57thth minute of the game Bearach Sheridan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derryheena's Baine Ramsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ventry's Benjamin McPaul got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timothy Hamilton hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Benjamin McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Derryheena booed when Ventry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ross Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Derryheena's Kaine Myler tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Ventry getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bec Callaghan hit a great ball. Bearach Sheridan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Baine Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Bearach Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baine Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bearach Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baine Ramsey having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Ventry players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
