In the 15th match minute, Grangegeeth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boland Dalton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suibhne Walker in the 17th minute of play forced Grangegeeth AFC's goalkeeper Brayden Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teigue Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flannery Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Killinkere Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flannery Johnson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Grangegeeth AFC's Dillon Cassin got a free kick in the 25th minute. Bryan McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlin Dillon having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Grangegeeth AFC's Bryan McDecland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Devlin Dillon. Devlin Dillon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fiachra McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Bryan McDecland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grangegeeth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan McDecland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Devlin Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Flannery Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killinkere Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flannery Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryan McDecland in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devlin Dillon saved Killinkere Utd from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Killinkere Utd's zone, Bryan McDecland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devlin Dillon came out of the goal and Bryan McDecland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Devlin Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryan McDecland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Teigue Perth made a precise shot to the right of Devlin Dillon. Killinkere Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 67th minute, Bryan McDecland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Devlin Dillon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Devlin Dillon didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grangegeeth AFC's Teigue Perth shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 74 played minutes Killinkere Utd got a freekick which was hit by Derrick McSteven. Devlin Dillon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teigue Perth went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Flannery Johnson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Killinkere Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flannery Johnson got free with Brayden Delaney in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Suibhne Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Flannery Johnson made a precise shot to the right of Brayden Delaney. Grangegeeth AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 91st minute Suibhne Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brayden Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grangegeeth AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Killinkere Utd for a fine match.
