Leenane AFC's Booak Lavine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ailín Matthews in the 9th minute of play. Theodore Lester might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casey McWill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theodore Lester ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute, Theodore Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Booak Lavine acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bowie Dunne. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bearnad McDecland sped through Drumbrollisk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Casey McWill. After 32 played minutes, Leenane AFC's Peter Rogers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casey McWill came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leenane AFC reached it. When Leenane AFC's Theodore Lester in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drumbrollisk's goalie prevented a goal. In the 40thth minute of the game Theodore Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumbrollisk's Casey McWill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute Bearnad McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theodore Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Casey McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Bearnad McDecland made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Drumbrollisk booed when Leenane AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Leenane AFC's zone, Beltany McLiam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Booak Lavine came out of the goal and Beltany McLiam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodore Lester could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Casey McWill made a huge save. Leenane AFC's Bearnad McDecland got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Drumbrollisk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Theodore Lester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casey McWill having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Leenane AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ailín Matthews came free, but Booak Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bearnad McDecland struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Casey McWill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leenane AFC. Theodore Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Casey McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ailín Matthews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Bearnad McDecland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey McWill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Leenane AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Drumbrollisk.
