Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Trevor Moran made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 minutes of play, Raheenagh's Bevin Cassin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brazil McAaron was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Inchaquire AFC booed when Raheenagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6th play minutes Trevor Moran shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Brasil McBjarton and just under the crossbar into goal. Brasil McBjarton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Moran in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Reagan Coyle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raheenagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Reagan Coyle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazil McAaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inchaquire AFC's Brazil McAaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bevin Cassin in the 17th minute of play. If Reagan Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazil McAaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bevin Cassin in the 20th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Becan Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brasil McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barrie McTom , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bevin Cassin in the 33rd minute of play forced Inchaquire AFC's goalkeeper Brazil McAaron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Trevor Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Raheenagh fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Raheenagh's Bevin Cassin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bevin Cassin in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brazil McAaron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Inchaquire AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raheenagh were winning 1-3.

The audience was convinced that Bevin Cassin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazil McAaron was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. After 58 minutes, Reagan Coyle made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Inchaquire AFC's Brazil McAaron tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Raheenagh getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Don Barrett hit a great ball. The supporters of Inchaquire AFC booed when Raheenagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes, Inchaquire AFC's Tory Rogers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brasil McBjarton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inchaquire AFC reached it. Reagan Coyle kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Inchaquire AFC's keeper Brazil McAaron was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Inchaquire AFC's zone, Reagan Coyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brazil McAaron came out of the goal and Reagan Coyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bevin Cassin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brazil McAaron having to interfere. Brazil McAaron was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Becc Cooney. Trevor Moran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brasil McBjarton having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Bevin Cassin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Raheenagh's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Moran came free, but Brasil McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Begley Delaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil McBjarton having to interfere. The Raheenagh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raheenagh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
