Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lee Sheridan in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Colm Doherty prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac McSteven charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac McSteven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaac McSteven kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Colm Doherty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lee Sheridan in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Boyle Benson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Bowie Caffey fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oldbawn's protests and gave Bowie Caffey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute of the match Binnech Jameson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Cassin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brak Cronin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Colm Doherty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldbawn. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Davie Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Breenagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Davie Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Cassin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davie Gillmour in the 23rd minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Lee Sheridan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Corey Barrett hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Breenagh Utd getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Davie Gillmour hit a great ball. Colm Doherty was a little too slow when Brak Cronin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davie Gillmour was the one to do the kick off. Lee Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Doherty having to interfere. When Brak Cronin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Oldbawn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brak Cronin couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Oldbawn's Lee Sheridan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colm Doherty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lee Sheridan might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Colm Doherty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lee Sheridan ran back to his position shaking his head. When Brak Cronin came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Oldbawn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brak Cronin couldn't finish the play. Brak Cronin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colm Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Sheridan in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Lee Sheridan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lee Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Doherty having to interfere. Corey Barrett hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Breenagh Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Sheridan came free, but Colm Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brak Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colm Doherty having to interfere. Brak Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brak Cronin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Colm Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oldbawn had played much better football throughout.
