Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blanaid Palmer got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the Drumfergus defense, Brendann Willson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brannon Ferguson. The Drumfergus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brannon Ferguson should have stopped the shot. In the 7thth minute of the game Brendann Willson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Drumfergus's Brannon Ferguson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Berke Gollogley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brannon Ferguson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bret Moran hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 14 played minutes Drumfergus got a freekick which was hit by Blanaid Palmer. Brannon Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Gollogley, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19 played minutes, Killosseny's Bec Perth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brannon Ferguson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Killosseny reached it. Brendann Willson scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brannon Ferguson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendann Willson in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannon Ferguson saved Drumfergus from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Drumfergus's zone, Berke Gollogley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannon Ferguson came out of the goal and Berke Gollogley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Bret Moran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brannon Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendann Willson in the 37th minute of play. Berke Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Drumfergus's Brannon Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendann Willson in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Killosseny were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brendann Willson to make the kick off. Berke Gollogley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Killosseny's Brendann Willson got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brannon Ferguson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brendann Willson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Drumfergus's Brannon Ferguson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Drumfergus from getting a goal against them. Brannon Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendann Willson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th match minute, Drumfergus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flann Delaney to maneuver through the defense. Berke Gollogley took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brannon Ferguson. Brannon Ferguson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Brannon Ferguson made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Berke Gollogley sent off a good shot on target. Brendann Willson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brannon Ferguson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendann Willson in the 87th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Drumfergus! Berke Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon Ferguson having to interfere. Killosseny's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
