Robert McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berk MaCollin, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Begg Brennan in the 7th minute of play forced Danesfort FC's goalkeeper Thurl Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Berk MaCollin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danesfort FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berk MaCollin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berach Cassin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berach Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Killygar FC's Boudibiua Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Boudibiua Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berk MaCollin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berk MaCollin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berach Cassin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Berkley McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thurl Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Begg Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thurl Glen Crowe having to interfere. Berkley McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Danesfort FC's Enda Hutton got a free kick in the 35th minute. From close distance Boudibiua Jameson pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 37 minutes into the game. In the 42nd minute, Begg Brennan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thurl Glen Crowe. The goal made the score 2-0. Begg Brennan struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Thurl Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killygar FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boudibiua Jameson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Brak McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Danesfort FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brak McAlphie couldn't finish the play. Boudibiua Jameson scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thurl Glen Crowe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 80 minutes of play, Killygar FC's Berkley McJon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thurl Glen Crowe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Killygar FC's David MaCollin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Boudibiua Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Begg Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Begg Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Killygar FC's Berkley McJon got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Killygar FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Danesfort FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
